The characteristics of microwave wood drying machine

microwave wood drying machine because of its unique advantages, the drying rate is very fast. By the customer to choose the actual situation of dry wood, the results show that: when the microwave power of 60 kilowatts or so, under the condition of cause no drying defects, from 8 mm thick veneer to 50 mm thick material, material moisture drying by 35 ~ 40% to 20%, the drying time just 10 minutes to 26 minutes. If you increase the microwave power, you must take the corresponding reasonable process.Otherwise, although then speed up the drying rate, but due to the internal temperature rise sharply, moisture evaporation, pressure increase, more than wood fibre allows, resulting in cracking. So microwave drying of wood, the increase of the output power density is limited.
We use the “water extraction rate” to assess the efficiency of drying. The so-called “water extraction rate” is defined as the microwave power of 1 kw in 1 hour, so that the number of kilograms of dry water loss, the unit is kilograms / kilowatt hours (kg/kwh). Water extraction rate is high, the high efficiency of equipment. We have four kinds of tree species of the timber, under the condition of its specifications are basically the same evaluation experiment. The results show that the water extraction rate of all kinds of tree species is about 1 kg/KWH or slightly more than. The same kind of wood in its thickness under the condition of different specifications,  its extraction rate is about equal to 1kg/kwh. The same kind of wood along the length of the fiber direction is different, the drying effect has obvious difference, we use the fiber structure is close to the comparison, the experiments of oak wood length short water rate is high, the opposite carry water rate is low. It is well known that the heated wood, along with the gradual cooling process, the water which is to further evaporation. So the appropriate cooling after drying, can improve the effect of drying.
